Stepping out of my comfort zone can be scary, as I am sure it is for anybody. It does not matter, though, I am doing this. I am beginning a blog to encourage, challenge, and get people to fasten their seat belts and hold on for dear life. I have always heard God’s call on my life to write. I never knew why. I still don’t know why. But- that does not matter, all that matters is I am doing it in obedience to God. Better late than never.
What are you holding back on? Is there something? Anything? Does your heart skip a beat when you hear a certain word, thought, or even person? I do not claim to be an expert in this- I am going to see where God takes me, and I hope you see where He takes you too.
I spent 4 days at a revival event at our church, and I must say the one word that I kept hearing, saying, believing was ‘more.’ More of Jesus- I just cannot get enough.
Alas, my first post will be for a challenge for all of us- find that something that God has been speaking to you- maybe He is calling you to take a step of faith, maybe He is calling you to make a new comittment, maybe He is calling you to recommitt to something you already do, but have lost your zest and passion and love for it.
For me, it’s writing and staying committed to it. Maybe for you, it’s an intentional decision to simply be intentional about your time with the Lord. Oh, it hits me hard to recognize that once I started to be intentional, no matter how insignificant it seemed to me, it made a huge impact on my life. It was not to make God’s heart happy, but it increased my joy by an exponential amount.
When God has called me to something and I’ve obeyed, my life has always been filled with more and more of Him. More and more of Him can never be a bad thing.
This blog seeks to inspire, encourage, and teach me. I hope it does the same for my readers as well.
I will share some of my story along the way as well.
May the God of the universe encourage, bless, and walk with you on your journey, as I am sure that He will.
Let me know in the comments what He is speaking to you. Thanks, and God bless you.
Like, share, and subsribe to this blog. May God bless you abundantly.
